OutDoor Living & Gas Grills

Southern Propane offers a large selection of the best and most popular gas grills on the market today. We consider ourselves Grillmasters, too. Certainly feel free to ‘grill us’ with questions concerning the many gas grill options available depending on your specific situation.

The Green Egg

The most versatile cooking device ever. It’s a grill, it’s an oven, it’s a smoker. Widely acclaimed as the original American-designed ceramic cooker, the Big Green Egg was derived from an ancient clay cooking device known as a “kamado”. Originally a clay vessel with a lid, today’s EGG® is a modern ceramic marvel known for producing amazing culinary results for novice and experts alike for over thirty years!

Wilmington Grills

  • Durability - cast stainless steel burners with a lifetime warranty mean rust and corrosion are a thing of the past.
  • Reliability - our grills are designed to last a lifetime, even in the harsh environment of the coast.
  • Quality - every Wilmington Grill is made from the highest quality, thick-gauge 304 stainless steel.
  • Performance - our gas grills feature an indirect cooking design to eliminate flare-ups.
  • Versatility - convert your grill to a smoker or steamer with available optional accessories.

Broilmaster

Broilmaster has been manufacturing Premium Gas Grills since 1966. The original G-1000 featured the now-legendary bowtie burner fitted into a heavy-duty cast head with the trademarked rib pattern on the lid. Today, Broilmaster offers models with multi-level cooking grids, separate burner controls, stainless steel griddles, and the company’s exclusive Smoker Shutter – which doubles the grill’s versatility by allowing backyard chefs to slow roast and smoke game, poultry, and other large cuts. In 2013, first Broilmaster charcoal grill, the C3, was created. Designed to compete with egg-style grills, the C3 offers greater cooking flexibility and more precise temperature control than any other charcoal grill you can buy. While other grill brands have come and gone and many have gone overseas, Broilmaster soldiers on as one of the few grills still made in the USA.

Weber Grills

At Weber Grills, we understand your grill can make or break your next barbecue.

Grills are not complex machines, but understanding the basics of grill construction can help you get the best grill for the money. We’re here to make simple work of finding the right grill with the Anatomy of a Gas Grill and our Five-Step Inspection.

STEP 1 – THE WIGGLE TEST. Step right up, grab the handle or the sides, and give it a good shake. Does it feel solid and firm? It’s a sign of quality.

STEP 2 - LIFT THE LID. Judging a grill by the weight of the lid alone is like judging a car by the weight of the hood. Make sure it is made of high grade stainless steel or it could easily discolor or rust.

STEP 3 - LIFT OUT THE COOKING GRATES. Under the grates youʼll find some type of system to disperse even heat across the cooking grates and to control flare-ups. Inverted V-shape metal bars is the best design at channeling food drippings and preventing flare-ups.

STEP 4 - TAKE OUT MIDDLE BARS OR BRISQUETTES. Underneath youʼll find the burners, which produce heat. Burners on better grills are independently controlled and run the length of the cook box for even heat.

STEP 5 – CONSIDER THE BRAND. Read closely to understand what is and what isn’t covered. The best warranties are uncomplicated and are light on fine print.
